OHAI

The Oral History Association of India (OHAI) was founded as a professional organisation in 2013 in order to provide a means of networking, sharing and communication among those working with recording and interpreting oral history. OHAI was established with the aims of promoting the creation, collection, digitization, archiving and dissemination of oral history in India. We hope that by creating a platform through which professionals in the field could share methodologies, technologies and work practices, this would encourage and stimulate publications and research in oral history.
